Bone (tissue) Regeneration around tooth (cases)

Periodontal Tissue/Bone Regeneration (cases)

Tissue regeneration around a tooth with extensive bone loss requires certain indications and preparation. Sometimes a combined use of the enamel derivative protein Emdogain® and a bone graft is required.

Below you see some of the cases in our office.

Bone regeneration is achieved through a microsurgical procedure and many factors play a role for the successful outcome.

The goal of treatment is to finally have new bone regenerated around the tooth. This way the tooth can be saved and we avoid implant therapy.

The microsurgical approach is adapted to each specific case and the success of a previous case does not guarantee the same results for all cases.

10 months later there is obvious bone regeneration and the tooth can be saved.
